*To qualify for Amherst Series Awards, riders must race 7 of 8 Amherst Series Motocross Events. (Sunoco Series and Lorain County Fair Race do not count towards the Amherst Series.)

NMA Qualifiers run alongside the regular races.

• 1st class: $20
  
• 2nd class: $15
  
• 3rd class: $10
  

Racing Rewards

• For the 2009 season, there will be a 2nd option instead of a trophy award. You may take the normal trophy or take Amherst Bucks:
  

  • 1st place = $15 Amherst Bucks
    
  • 2nd place = $10 Amherst Bucks
    
  • 3rd place = $5 Amherst Bucks
    
  • 4th place = $5 Amherst Bucks (If there is enough in the class to reward 4th place; see below.)
    
    
  • Amherst Bucks are only good to be used for Gate fees, Race Entry fees, and Open Practice fees.

• Rewards are given based on how many riders in a class: 1 per every 3 riders (ex: 15 entries = 5 rewards).
  
  
• Pro classes receive a money reward:
  

  • Pro classes pay out 200% to the top 3 riders.
    
  • Pro class = Money Quad, 250A, and 450A.
    

• Classes held on the small track will always receive a participation reward, regardless of position and number of entries.
  
  
• All CRA sanctioned classes will receive points based on their finish position.
  
  
• All classes listed below except Pitbike may receive an Amherst year end award if the rider participated in enough races.
  
  
• Amherst year-end rewards (This may change for the 2009 Series):
  

  • 1st = Jacket
    
  • 2nd = Sweatshirt
    
  • 3rd = T Shirt & 1 Gate Fee
    
  • 4th = 1 Entry Fee
    
  • 5th = 1 Gate Fee
